Next MI food growers meeting

  • Every 2nd Monday, July 7th,  at 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Marrowstone Winery on Meade Road.

Purpose of MIFG

Marrowstone Island Food Growers (MIFG) is a MICA standing committee for islanders who grow food -- fruit, vegetables, shellfish, fowl, beef, goats, honey bees…

The intent of MIFG is to provide a forum for residents and landowners on the Island who grow and/or process food for themselves or for sale to:

    1. To exchange information about our unique island food growing needs and resources,
    2. To have a voice to and conduit from the WSU extension service and Jefferson County agriculture organizations,
    3. To enhance opportunities for island food growers to sell or exchange food, seeds, tools, and other resources.
